AMI Guideline Letter for students and parents

Dear GSA HS  Families,
 
With the inclement weather following winter break, we have used our 5 allotted snow days. These days do not need to be made up. Any additional days we cannot attend school will be AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) days. 
 
Students will receive the daily AMI assignments on Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Schoology and others.If an AMI day is called, students complete and return the first-day assignments. Every student who returns the assignments will be counted as present for the AMI day. If we have a second AMI day, teachers assign the second-day assignments, and students complete the second-day assignments, and so on. 
 
Students need to take their Chromebooks with them when they go home to access AMI assignments if needed. AMI days will be announced through the same contact methods as no-school days.
