GATOR Project Fundraiser

Dear GSA Families,

I hope this message finds you well. I am thrilled to share some exciting news about a new initiative at our school that will greatly benefit our students and athletes.

Recently, we participated in a contest to win new weight room equipment. Thanks to your incredible support, we secured 5lbs to 50lbs dumbbells and a rack, though we came in second place and did not win the grand prize.

Despite not winning all the contest items, our commitment to enhancing our facilities has not wavered. I presented the vision for a new workout room to our Central Office, and they enthusiastically agreed to support us in transforming one of the rooms by the gym into a functional weight room. Working closely with our dedicated coaches and a professional design company, we have developed a comprehensive plan for this space, as shown in the attached picture.

However, bringing this vision to life requires substantial investment. The total cost for the necessary equipment is $10,000. Our goal for this year is to raise funds to cover these expenses. We will be organizing various fundraisers throughout the year and welcome any donations from our generous community. Please keep an eye out for emails with details on upcoming events and fundraising opportunities.

This summer, with the help of some of our students, we will be holding a brand new uniform sale at the school. One of our vendors recently closed their business and returned extra items to us, presenting an excellent opportunity to kick-start our fundraising efforts.
